Over Bust corsets as outerwear

We have looked at underbust corsets. You want to reduce your waist measurement and get an hourglass figure. However, you have a beautiful skirt and want a top that will get you noticed. Overbust corsets are designed to give you a great waist but also support the bust and give you a great cleavage. Many wearers of overbust corsetry usually wave goodbye to a view of their feet as the push up effect of a steel boned corset gives an ample bust. The corset is unforgiving and the tough material and boning, when correctly tightened, caused the breasts to rise and fall with every breath. Some people love this side affect, some people do not. We are not here to judge. The corset can be worn with nothing underneath or some wearers place a light shirt or top under the corset before lacing commences. It is just a matter of taste. Getting the right match between waist dimensions and bust dimensions can be tricky and most men will purchase a corset too small for their partner. A common mistake leading to a lot of superb condition corsets on a well known auction site. Overbust corsets do need to be tired on before purchasing and so gifts are a minefield.
